I am a mechanical engineer and space operations officer serving in the United States Space Force, currently working as a NASA CapCom for the International Space Station. My past roles include Space Sciences Department Head at the Space Force's premier technical school, chief satellite engineer for a $30B constellation, air quality engineer, middle school English and Calculus teacher in South Korea, and line cook/dishwasher.
I am passionate about teaching orbital mechanics and exploring Fermi style rabbit holes. Outside of work, I like running, cycling, reading, and listening to podcasts. You can find me on X, though I mostly just repost space news.
Fun fact: My five-person D&D group once played the same campaign weekly for eight straight years! I'm also honored to be a past recipient of the GeeklyInc Geekly of the Year Award.
